SMS Terms for A-Tech Appraisal Co. text messages about appraisal inspections: what they are, how you agree to them, and how to stop them.
SMS Terms
1. The Program
A-Tech Appraisal Co. Inspection Scheduling Texts. When A-Tech Appraisal Co. is appraising a property, its appraiser texts the contact for that property (the homeowner, borrower, listing agent or tenant) to arrange a time and access for the appraisal inspection. A text can introduce the appraiser and give a callback number, or carry a link to pick an inspection time, and the appraiser sees your replies. The texts are never marketing or promotional. A-Tech Appraisal Co. is the sender; its appraisers send the texts from appraisal-OS, the appraisal software operated by A-Tech Appraisal Co.
2. How You Agree
You agree to these texts by phone, directly with A-Tech Appraisal Co., before any text is sent. An A-Tech appraiser reads you this script and asks for a yes or no: “May A-Tech Appraisal Co. send you text messages at this number about scheduling and access for the appraisal inspection at [property address]? The texts come from your appraiser and can include a callback number and a link to pick a time. Message frequency varies, usually one to three texts per appraisal. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out at any time. Agreeing is not required for the appraisal. Our SMS Terms are at appraisal-os.com/sms-terms and our Privacy Policy is at appraisal-os.com/privacy. Do you agree to receive these texts, yes or no?” Only a clear yes is recorded, against your number and that appraisal, with the words read to you, the time, and who recorded it; no text is sent to a number without that record. Once your yes is recorded, we send one text confirming it, with the message frequency, rates, HELP and STOP. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of any purchase or of the appraisal. 3. Message Frequency and Cost
Message frequency varies, usually one to three texts per appraisal. Message and data rates may apply. Your mobile plan decides what, if anything, a text costs you.
4. Stopping Texts
Reply STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, REVOKE or OPTOUT) at any time to stop the texts. Stopping withdraws your consent, and we send nothing further to that number. When you reply STOP or one of those words, you get one text confirming it; a plain request such as “please stop texting me” stops the texts too, without a confirmation text. Replying START lifts the block, but we will not text you again until you agree again.

6. Carriers
Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages.
7. Privacy
Your mobile number, your consent record and your messages are handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Your consent is given to A-Tech Appraisal Co. only. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
